The company was formed by James H. Jones Jr. hence the three J's. J3 was formed when several U.S. Air Force members got together to help out a few friends, mostly recent Air Force Retirees, who were trying to promote their own new founded businesses on the Internet. Some of us were trained in the development of Web Sites, others were into computer graphics. We called on a few friends who knew how to build Data Collection Systems and understood quality Information Management practices.

Well, long story short, we helped a couple of them and managed to promote their businesses far beyond their expectations. Soon, these friends were telling their friends about this secret group that could help them as well. It wasn't long before we had more work than most of us could handle with full-time jobs and we weren't organized enough to manage it effectively. That is where James came in. Two of his most powerful qualities are team building and organizing. James set a course of action, a battle plan if you will, on launching a company or LLC through which we could effectively track accounts, projects, and invoicing. This new company came to life back in 2000.

One thing surly leads to another and it wasn't long before we were advertising, providing training, and building systems for State Governments and non-profit organizations all over the Southeast. Word of mouth has treated us well, as we now have almost 30 clients, ranging from a Regional Law Firm, a Cable/Communications Company, and even a party planner.
